When we moved to Laughing Waters Farm there were 3 hydroponic vegetable tunnels largely growing tomatoes.  As an ecologist I was passionate about converting this hydroponic system with its artificial sawdust substrate, mass of fertilisers and other chemicals, into an organic healthy soil growing environment.  With the support of earthworms, companion planting, lots of compost, strengthening minerals, we have transformed this environment and our open fields to diverse, healthy and productive ecosystems. 

We still grow tomatoes but asparagus, aubergines, cucumbers, peppers, herbs and more are also grown organically at the farm.
